We currently have two active projects, with more projects planned.

High school support and outreach – This project is focused on helping high school students in Orange County build satellite ground stations, which can also be used to support high altitude balloon and amateur rocketry experiments.  The first phase of the ground station effort is to design a low cost weather satellite receiver and antenna. We think existing solutions are too difficult and expensive to implement at the high school level.

First Light cubesat – This optical communication project is in the definition and trade-off study stage. Our goal is to implement a low cost optical system for cubesat to cubesat or cubesat to ground communications.
